On A Breeze
Before I flew to the other side of the world into winter I was enjoying summer. Adding to my Spring vibes already in my journal I have doodled my Summer vibes. Partly inspired the zine and partly inspired by the zine.

Creating a paradise in my room with Shangri-La paper lanterns. A Moonrise kingdom tribute on my wall.
Lining up the records I listened to non-stop while working on the zine. No wonder they all feature on the Summer Sounds page.
I finished the left page while driving through the badlands, it was mystifying. The other page includes a letter I received from Georgia.
Outfit from forever ago. Jus my beach cruising geeaaarzz.
And now I am doodling my winter aesthetics.

Ahhhh I love your journal pages! Makes me wish it was summer so badly!
ReplyDeleteI love how your journal always looks so beautiful to look at.
ReplyDeletechanging the perception that journal=scrawly mess!
scrawly mess=beautiful!
DeleteThank you :)
Wow, I've been sifting through your previous posts just to get a sense about the things you're blogging about. The movies and bands you've referenced in your journal made me think you may be old, but then when you stated you only graduated high school in 2010, I was really surprised.
ReplyDeleteI take it you may be studying film. I liked your short documentary and thought the end credit sequence of your high school film was very creative and effective. If I was making a movie I'd steal that and pretend that I'd come up with it. Well done.
Haha that is funny!! How old is old? I am 19! Mmmm I am a bit of a film nerd! Thank you so much, haha yea I'm sure credits like that have been done a lot before but I was proud of them :)! I am actually studying communications majoring in advertising - art direction! I took a video paper where I got to make films as I am very passionate about filmmaking! Thank you heaps though! I love your blog by the way!
DeleteI love the doodles, your paper lanterns, and moonrise kingdom tribute. I haven't seen that movie yet and I really should! I also loved your posts about the badlands, it makes me want to drive through there as well!
ReplyDeleteAww it's nice to see some summer inspiration this time of year. I spy lots and lots of wonderful bands :)
ReplyDeleteLove that San Fransisco shirt, too!

Samantha
